Lord of the Rings Warhammer, or the Middle Earth strategy battle game just got a brand new edition and a brand new box set of shiny miniatures, And I mean shiny, for the first time in over a decade we are talking brand new plastic warriors for Middle Earth. This is just so long overdue. The Lord of the Rings Strategy Battle Game basically built Games Workshop as we know it, it would be a shadow of the company it is today without our beloved game, the huge cash injection that Middle Earth brought to GW in the early 2000โs paid for all the early investment in glorious plastic technologies that we gave become so accustomed to. Games Workshopโs launch of the new edition of the Middle Earth Strategy battle game has been kicked off with this glorious Battle of Edoras box, jammed pack with brand new plastic warriors, and I honestly just canโt believe it.
