In a new article they let us know which 9 armies will be part of the main story in TOW. They are: Dwarfs, Empire, Bretonnia, Wood Elves, High Elves, Tomb Kings, Beastmen, Orcs & Goblins and Warriors of Chaos.

Other armies - Vampire Courts, Lizardmen, Ogre Kingdoms, Skaven, Deamons of Chaos, Dark Elves and Chaos Dwarfs - are not going to be the focus of the new release but they will get free rules so they will still be playable.
