Henrike Lode aka Riker is a programmer, game designer and lecturer at the University of the Witwatersrand. In "Seek Discomfort" she talks about perseverance, experimental prototyping and some of the joys and challenges of being a game developer. She also talks about some of the recent games she has made, as part of an ambition to make 12 games in a year.

About the Speaker Series:
The Games & Society Lab Speaker Series invites practitioners and researchers in and around game design to present their work, thoughts, and process. The goal of the series is to illuminate different perspectives and approaches to game design, and to inspire and excite the next generation of game designers.
