Episode 56 - The cover story for this issue of GamePro is of course the outstanding Sonic The Hedgehog, although I'm not really sure that the cover art does it justice! There are lots of other great games covered in this issue as well, along with part 1 of their 16-bit buyers guide! At this time, not only was the 16-bit console war getting ready to heat up with the release of the Super Nintendo, but in general I think that we were standing at the forefront of what was, at least for me, the golden age of home video games!

![Oregon Trail & Carmen Sandiego for the Apple II
Episode 25 - Oregon Trail & Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego for the Apple II. If youre my age and are therefore a child of the 80s, chances are you grew up playing MECCs The Oregon Trail and Broderbunds Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego in school. Theyre classics that are both still fun to play today!
Both games in this video were recorded being played on my Apple IIc, while quick shots of other games were recorded using the excellent Virtual ][ emulator for OSX.
