Gamelan Textures is a unique collection of 107 high-quality recordings featuring 6 traditional Javanese gamelan instruments and 1 bonus harp. This library focuses on tonal textures and organic sound design elements, including scrapes, single notes, spinning tones, intervals, and performances using various mallets.
Recorded with 2–3 microphones across multiple mic positions, the pack offers a wide range of sonic perspectives and expressive textures for sound designers, composers, and audio creators.
We originally created this library to enhance the tonal and textural layers of our RPG Magic Sound Effects Pack 3 – Elemental, and several recordings were also used in our Anime Comedy Sound Effects Pack. Now, these recordings are available as a standalone library for your own creative projects.
