Gamefreak created different ai and different behavioral pattern for different wild Pokemon depending on their types and species for Paldea region in pokemon scarlet and violet.
For example, Paldean Tauros are quite aggressive and will try to attack the players. While others like hoppip and lechonk will just observe when the player battle other wild Pokemon.
