In this video I start writing a game for the ZX81 using the Z88DK C compiler. I talk about performance issues with the code and speed improvements over ZX81 BASIC, show the game running in the Eighty One ZX81 emulator and how it runs on the Spectrum Next ZX81 emulator.

The code I wrote took 5k of the ZX81’s 16k, not 16k as said in the video.
