When the Women's Prize For Fiction Shortlist was announced, I discovered I had not read one single book. I decided to make this video fun (at least for me), and read the first page to predict what I think I will end up rating this book when I read it in May. I will share a video later in May with my reviews and official ratings, to see if I am even close. (Essentially, should I ever try to read the first page before buying a book??) The winner of the Women's Prize for Fiction will be announced June 12.
