I had the pleasure of spending my summer with one of my best friends ever that I met here on youtube and she just happens to be one of my favorite editors so it's always a pleasure to get to work with her! We went to go see Pixels (it was an awful movie) and the only thing that was good about the movie was this song at the credits. Finally I finished this video...you dont know how lazy I got towards the end but I pushed through. I love this song so much ive been dying to vid it ALL year but im afraid I didnt do it justice (aka it didnt come out how I wanted it too *sigh*) but I hope some of it was enjoyable. STORY BEHIND THE VIDEO
Okay, so this was a difficult project for me to make because the song means so much to me and I really didnt want to fuck it up but I think I did good! I really did just edit straight from the heart, didnt care too much if a scene was too overused or what not because these scenes represent emotions I go through everyday. Some of you may know that I struggle deeply with anxiety & depression, I have since I was 12... and lately ive been doing a lot of things I wouldnt normally do/regret. Its like Im trying to be someone else that isnt me and its fun for awhile but then reality sets back in and here you are. AND TO BE CLEAR*** I have never done drugs, except marijuana which was the worst experience of my life, the drugs Im referring to in this video is the many drugs I have to take every day just to feel somewhat normal. Sometimes I randomly go off my meds and thats when a lot of the craziness starts. Also, in the past Ive dealt with self-harm so thats why there are some scenes of people hiding their scars. I could go on about all my past traumas and dances with death but I think this video can really speak for itself. I just wanted to give a little backstory to this video.
