Conway's Game of Life has finally been proven to be omniperiodic.
This means that there can be oscillators (i.e.: patterns that repeat over a given time) of any period.

204P41 was the first period-41 pattern to be discovered, completing a 54-year long quest to prove that Conway's Game of Life is indeed omniperiodic.
