It doesn't matter what engine you use. Make cool games! Unless you use Godot, then you're basically a god and it doesn't matter what you do.

So often it becomes trending to call a video game bad when the default Unity splash screen appears, which...just isn't fair. It shouldn't matter what engine you use. Plenty of cool games get made with any kind of engine. Whether that's Unity, Game Maker, Unreal Engine, Godot, Construct, or literally anything else. Seeing a splash screen ahead of playing the game shouldn't affect your opinion on the game.
Unity is infamous for its default splash screen because of the crazy amount of bad/cheap games that have been made with Unity (and then started off with that splash screen), but that shouldn't take away from the fact that there are tons of incredible games that were made with the same engine.
Games like: Hearthstone, Cuphead, Escape from Tarkov, Rust, Hollow Knight, Kerbal Space Program, Prey for the Gods, Cities Skylines, Ori and the Blind Forest, and many MANY more.
So if you like using Unity to develop your games: by all means, use Unity!
