In today's video we take a dive into the AMS multi material system for the Bambu Labs printers. I have tested out quite a few multi color and multi filament systems over the years with most being quite painful requiring lots of calibration with spotty results. The AMS is the first system I have used that is pretty well hands off. You set the colors and materials in the slicer and as long as the filament has no issues on its own the results have been very consistent. We will dive into the hardware, the slicer, some of my tips, and print with the AMS HUB which allows for up to 16 spools (NUTS).
