Have you ever bothered to play your black cartridge Game Boy games in any mode other than Game Boy Color? Sometimes the monochromatic shading of the original Game Boy creates a more cohesive image with additional depth! Sometimes Super Game Boy support is more robust than expected for a time when it was all but forgotten. And sometimes that GBC colorization really is spot-on! They're all worth a look!
