"Cartoon cat and/or mouse brawl through eight levels of this colorful side-scrolling fighter based on the 2002 direct-to-video release of the same name. The basic premise, which sure sounds borrowed from Japanimation classic Alakazam the Great, has Jerry unable to remove a mysterious ring he's stuck on his head. Much slapsticky mayhem ensues, with Tom or Jerry (either is playable) swinging bats or tossing eggs, plates and other household items at enemies. Both Tom and Jerry can leap on sofas, fireplace mantles and other platforms in the background. Bosses include a plate-throwing matron. Spike, Nibbles, Butch and other familiar Tom and Jerry characters make appearances."

[Quirky] Adventure game by Wayforward.
Follow half-genie Shantae as she goes on another adventure to stop Risky Boots from literally flipping Sequin Land. Usual Shantae shenanigans ensues!
Gameplay is the usual Shantae things: find goodies, find a dance to transform into a critter to get past an obstacle, find even MOAR goodies, and figure out where that one important item is to advance the plot!
This longplay plays through the game twice. The first go is a casual playthrough with talking to many NPCs while getting 100%. Ending pics are shown because the casual playthrough pretty much disqualifies me from getting the Top Speed pic (if its correct: 2 hour 30 minute for any%, 3 hours for 100%. Its pretty lenient...when you arent getting turned around at Naga Cliffs.). The second go is attempting to be a speedrun on Bikini mode (this games Magic Mode) for 100%. Its super scuff.

Originally released for the Amiga in 1989, it is fondly remembered for its music although the game it self was a bit ..meh largely thx to its difficulty and drab colour pallet. It was ported to a couple of other systems including the mega drive and the Master System in 1992. Cartridge games always come with the risk of buyers remorse especially at the cost of 29.99 per cart, the game had better be good....... This port of the game is not great and you would have felt pretty cheated.
The game features only 6 of the 7 original levels and loops round at the end of level 6 without offering to buy/sell anything at the in game shop. The game is still difficult and made more so by not being able to see enemies and projectiles when the action really hots up as its just too much for the poor master system to handle. Im not sure, but in other versions you cant take money between levels with you so its best to spend it all each time you get to the shop. However here in this version it does seem to stack. The shop does not offer all the weapons from the original game regardless of how much money you have.
The video shows two loops of the game as I played through just in case it ends after 2 runs. It doesnt..... so i just end the game in loop 3. The pc version does similar but the second loop is harder.
