Queen Pike(tabby cat) is the ruler of the kingdom taking place in JASE. Poet(the blue cat) is taken prisoner by one of the queen's spies Jack and is sent to the queen. Poet is an "Enlightened" cat, so he kinda travels through different timelines and knows about the future and past, which is why he was taken hostage. Pike wanted to know the future of her kingdom and figure out a way to find the host of an important resource called the Gloom. Jack mocks Poet for being so powerful but not able to defend himself. Poet does tell Pike that the future will not shine on her, and that led to some unfortunate events.
