In which once again, the day is saved due to one man's love for Largo and muscles.
Though this stage also takes a while, thankfully there are far fewer infantry units (and thus fewer evasion dice rolls) to deal with.
The Edelweiss was equipped with defense-boosting and HP-boosting parts to make it tank the two Anti-Tank Cannon shots (that would otherwise shoot and kill Vyse and/or another important unit). The MAJ-X machine gun again finds amazing use with its ATTACK DOWN debuff -- this mod made it a 50% decrease, meaning that Vyse can survive the volleys of all the enemy Shocktroopers easily. A royal lance (which has a higher accuracy and vsPers rating in exchange for a lower Range and vsArmor rating) is equipped onto Largo to make him able to snipe the Shocktrooper waiting up near the radiators. Noting the necessary distance to proc Largo Lover -- conveniently marked with the "Fancies Men" potential that Jann also has -- plays an important role in ending this in four turns, in time for the A rank. The Resupply order was used for safety -- Homer ought to have been able to reach Jann, but that would have ruined my using the Fancies Men potential to know when to step back out and into range for Largo Lover to proc.
Worth noting is the three Gatling Cannons will completely wreck your units a smoke bomb isn't set up: they have a vsPers rating of 45 and a vsArmor rating of 600 (meaning the Edelweiss is only impervious to it at all times if all defense-boosting parts are equipped).
