How to Connect & Play DGT Board with Chess.com Chess House 2020-05-26 | This video shows you the steps to connect, install, and enable your DGT chess board for play on chess.com. I recommend games of 15 minutes or more because you’ll be making moves for both players. Be prepared to swivel the board on your table depending on who is playing white or black. Also, and maybe most important, this demonstration shows you how to enable the voice move announcements so that you do not need to be looking at a computer screen. This works in Google Chrome. I’m using Windows 10 for this demonstration.The DGT Board is the Smartboard with coordinates. I have paired it with the Timeless wooden pieces which are not the standard plastic pieces that come with the Smart Board but are another compatible design typically paired with the Walnut or other wooden DGT boards.So far, I don’t think there is compatibility with the DGT Pi or DGT Clocks while playing on chess.com. But neither is it really relevant in my opinion when you can hear the moves announced and keep your eyes on the board play.

First Look at NEW King Performance Chess Computer by Millennium Chess House 2019-11-28 | Here are my thoughts on the new computer by Millennium coming early December 2019. Earlier this year, the Centaur by DGT came out. It offered an amazing "just turn it on and play" experience and has been really successful for those who want to do away with all extra features. This King Performance however is a total win from the standpoint of an all-in-one beautiful chess computer with lots of ways to customize it and keep things interesting. I love that Chess960 is built in as well. Plus it's very reassuring that it can connect for app, computer, or online play via the bluetooth device ChessLink. It's updatable too, making it future proof. The King Performance doesn't have autosensory board and requires a slight press of the squares. It offers a lot of value compared to the Centaur however at a price of slightly less than the Centaur. If you are shopping around and comparing various chess computers, the most similar items in the price range will be DGT products. Now, with the King Performance you have everything built into one self-contained machine so you can enjoy playing chess against the computer without the need for a PC or Mac.
