Lo juego a dicha resolución y con el doblaje en español, ya que es como yo siempre lo he jugado.Broken Sword es una de mis aventuras gráficas favoritas de todos los tiempos, un juego que me impresionó mucho en su día por su trama, muy interesante que mezcla intriga con cierto toque oscuro, pero a la que no le falta el humor; unos gráficos que para su época eran muy detallados y a mayor resolución que las míticas aventuras de Lucas y Sierra; la música que acentuaba el toque "peliculero" a los hechos que se sucedían en pantalla, la gran cantidad de diálogos, todos muy bien doblados al castellano, etc. Sin duda está en mi top 5 del género, y pensé que, ya que lo iba a rejugar, lo subía al canal a modo de homenaje, igual que hice con el remaster de Day of the Tentacle, otro de mi top 5. Me ha parecido un buen remaster, la diferencia en los fondos y personajes salta a la vista, completamente redibujados hasta el más mínimo detalle. Podemos cambiar en cualquier momento a los gráficos originales (excepto en vídeos) con Tab para poder comparar, cosa que hago siempre que llego a una nueva localización. En el aspecto sonoro, eso sí, es exactamente igual que el original, al igual que el juego en sí, que no cambia nada (que recuerde). Afortunadamente, porque ya hicieron el experimento con el Director's Cut, y no salió bien.Nota: he tenido que silenciar dos minutos de sonido en Siria por derechos de autor.

Así que me interesó probarlo en el emulador de PS3, y tras configurarlo adecuadamente para el juego, me puse a jugarlo grabando un gameplay para el canal, y... me lo he terminado. La campaña dura lo que veis, 2 horas, y no me han matado ni una sola vez.Con razón no sabía de su existencia, por dos motivos: uno que no salió aquí en Europa, solo en EEUU, lo otro es que bueno, es un juego totalmente olvidable. No es que sea terriblemente malo, se deja jugar bastante bien y no da tiempo de que se te haga repetitivo (a pesar de que lo es) al solo durar 2 horas. Metal Gear Solid PC port (2000) gameplay on PCem: AMD K6-III+ 475, Voodoo 3, Windows 98 DARTHVR 2024-08-06 | (English below) Gameplay de Metal Gear Solid, el mítico juego de PS1 desarrollado por Konami con Hideo Kojima a la cabeza, que tuvo un port para PC en el año 2000, funcionando en PCem emulando un PC con un AMD K6-III+ 475 Mhz, 3DFX Voodoo 3, 512MB de RAM y Windows 98 como sistema operativo. La resolución del juego es de 1024x768.Recuerdo que se decía que este port para PC en su versión original de aquel año era desastroso, pues daba muchos problemas y era difícil hacerlo funcionar, ya en la época. Así que por curiosidad lo he probado en PCem y como se puede ver en el vídeo, funciona sin problemas, al menos hasta donde he jugado.Actualmente Metal Gear Solid para PC se vende en GOG. No he probado esa versión, pero se supone que debería funcionar en PCs actuales. Se supone... no siempre es así con las versiones de GOG especialmente en W10 y 11. Así que en este vídeo muestro esta forma alternativa de hacerlo funcionar. Yo este juego lo compré para mi Gamecube, pero nunca llegué a jugar demasiado.Lo juego en el emulador Xemu versión v0.7.127. Parece bien emulado hasta donde he jugado salvo por una cosa. Dos en realidad. Una es que faltan los lens flares. No es algo que se note a no ser que sepas que estaban ahí en el juego jugado en consola, pero me parece curioso como, desde siempre, a los emuladores les ha costado mucho emular determinados efectos como los lens flares. Lo otro es que el emulador sufre en rendimiento con este juego si se aumenta la resolución a más de x2 respecto al original, dejando de ir a 60 fps perfectos, aun con un PC muy potente como el mío (i9-13900K y RTX 4090). Es mejor es emular este juego en cualquiera de las otras dos versiones, es decir, PS2 en PCSX2 y GC en Dolphin. Esta versión de Xbox creo que tiene las texturas con algo más de resolución respecto a las otras, pero como el emulador impide activar el filtrado anisotrópico, todas las texturas que estén inclinadas se van a ver peor que en los otros dos emuladores, que sí permiten filtrado anisotrópico.--------------------Gameplay of the first two missions of TimeSplitters: Future Perfect, developed by Free Radical and released in 2005, in its Xbox version in the Xemu emulator. Me pregunté si, al igual que ocurre con otros clásicos de id Software, existiría un source port para este juego que nos permita jugarlo en HD y Windows 11 con control moderno, en vez de tener que usar DOSBox, y así es, se trata de CatacombGL desarrollado por ArnoAnsems, y permite jugar a tosos los juegos de la saga Catacombs. Es decir, nunca he sido realmente experto en el juego, por lo que este gameplay no pretende mostrar una partida perfecta y habrá decenas o cientos de longplays de este juego en Youtube que lo hagan mejor, pero este es mi gameplay, y por lo menos lo ofrezco con muy buena calidad visual.Hablando de esto, está grabado en 4K y uso un shader que suaviza un poco los gráficos e imita un efecto CRT, que creo que queda muy bien. Para que se vea bien recomiendo ver el vídeo en un monitor a pantalla completa. Lo que más me gusta del juego es su estilo caricaturesco colorido y humorístico, junto a la música de Grant Kirkhope, que identificas en seguida con Rare.Testeando juegos en el emulador Xemu, vi que este es uno de los mejor emulados, así que decidí jugarlo y de paso traer el gameplay al canal. Debido a esto, cuando se usa el arma gravitacional (buena copia hicieron de Half-Life 2), un enorme círculo negro tapa gran parte de la pantalla, esto dificulta enormemente vencer al primer jefe, ya que hay tirarle bolas de plasma de las torretas, y es difícil acertarle, yo lo hago en una ocasión de pura chiripa. Por eso, dejo ahí el gameplay de Resurrection of Evil.Entonces, me pongo a probar los Doom clásicos que se incluían en este disco, pues dada la corta duración de esta expansión, como jugoso extra añadieron los Doom clásicos, más concretamente The Ultimate Doom, Doom II y The Master Levels. Esto no es poca cosa, pues que yo sepa, en la generación de los "128 bits" los Doom clásicos solo podían jugarse en Xbox con este disco. Hay partes del vídeo que se ven a 30 fps, es cosa de la grabación (no sé si algún día descubriré por qué ocurre esto). Lo que sí que no es de la grabación es el stuttering y tirones bastante notorios que tiene el juego, cosa habitual por desgracia del Unreal engine.
