and here I thought I already just got a god time here, then I go and beat it by 2 seconds...
I practiced boost laps for like an hour and a half to get new strats down, and I learned the lap 1 cylinder to dirt skip which saved a ton of time between the skip itself and also the speed it carries through most of the rest of the lap from constant chaining. I pushed my (non-spiral skip) opener down like 1.3 seconds with this and the boost laps were a little better as well. I want rank 10 here; this is rank 11 but I still have about .7 seconds to go which will have to come out of the boost laps. It's hard to grind out good boost laps since so much of the difficulty comes down to lap 1s, so maybe I'll have to spend another hour or 2 in practice mode working on boost laps and then hope for the best. Happily this run came pretty quickly after I started doing attempts because of all the boost lap practice, so that seemed to be a good idea.
