anyway I kinda want to rant about 2 things rn

also if I accidentally spread misinformation I will edit or delete this, this is based on my research!!

firstly, if you know Lapfox / Halley Labs ( Renard, TQBF, etc etc ) you may have heard of the controversy surrounding it
basically Emma ( person behind Renard and all the aliases ) allegedly S/Aed someone.
she has a sleep disorder that makes her grope people in their sleep! they didn't do it on purpose or even consciously. if you dig around you can find Emma's response to the allegations, she also provides a timeline and evidence. most of the allegations were literal fucking lies because why go to Tumblr and not the fucking police? the lies were the r//pe allegations and the abuse allegations
Emma also admitted to being a shitty person in the past, she's since apologized. she's also been to therapy and at the time of the incident was looking into a sleep lab.
I did 3 hours of research in one day and a lot of fucking thinking about this over the course of like 6 months
stop spreading misinformation!!
and if you need a source, I found her post on "know your meme" which is one of the first sites to pop up when you search it up.
also I've heard that the 'victim,' Nishimikan, has schizophrenia/hallucinates & lied about having PTSD (which she claimed Emma purposely triggered) from a friend of theirs, but I don't have a source to back this up so take it with a grain of salt.

anyway, I think it's okay to like Lapfox. given the controversy being mostly lies I think its okay to support Emma, but if you don't that's completely fair. I'm on the fence about it. I don't like or dislike her, I just like her music, characters and lore. this is just because despite digging pretty deep into the situation, I could still be wrong. I'll own up to my mistake if I am. it just pisses me off when I see people "calling out" Emma when they didn't look into it at all, or at least just scratching the surface

also apparently Nishi made a second post in 2020 with more lies, which Emma disproved with evidence, which makes their original "callout" more sketchy than it already was.

the other thing is more lighthearted lmao
I've watched the last man on earth maybe 20 times or more, I've been a fan for 5 years.
no one talks about this show, probably cuz it got cancelled
but I find it really fucking good man
the comedy is amazing, the writing is good, the characters are interesting and they topple mental health very well!!
and the ending of the show would have been perfect if not for the cliffhanger
I love by how the end of the show, the most immature character gains a maturity the others don't have
he realizes they are living a terrible and unsustainable lifestyle, just because it's fun. the others don't realize this, not even Mike.
the only other character who had this sense of maturity was Phil.
also I love the symbolizing in the first season, because I'm rewatching it again.
Carol compares Tandy and her marriage to the raisen balls, which taste like shit. and the broken door that immediately fell apart after she compared it to their marriage.
anyway watch tlmoe it's on Disney+ and probably HBO max if I'm not mistaken
