The classic silicon Fuzz Face by Arbiter and Dunlop made some as well and it was played by Jimmy Hendrix. If a guitarist fancies making one of these, then you can't get cheaper than making one yourself. Construction of this fuzz effects pedal is a simple process using a lump of wood, some screws, and a few components that can be bought from online stores such as eBay or Amazon. This is a rather long upload but I've tried to keep the file size down to a low as possible. There's the possibility that I may do a similar upload to this with soldering, probably solder, wood and drawing pins. I hope a guitarist who's a bit skint, with prolly a mortgage around their neck and a family to feed might be able to explore the exciting realm of guitar amplification and effects that could provide a fascinating hobby, or as something to do during retirement.
