It was a cool toy, but not something worth spending a grand on. You spend most of your time worrying about crashing it, getting in trouble for flying it in restricted areas, or trying to not be distracted by people coming up to you to ask you if "it's a drone."

This felt, in a way, like the "new" Google Glass.
