At Future Ready 2026, Nabil Belbechir presented two projects aimed at leveraging AI, robotics, and data to boost European competitiveness and solve an essential societal challenge:
• COGNIMAN, Cognitive industries for smart manufacturing
• iBot4CRMs, AI data and robotics for the recovery of critical raw materials from waste, otherwise known as urban mining
Future Ready, organised by ADRA (The AI, Data, Robotics Association), brought together researchers, innovators, industry leaders, and policymakers to showcase successful projects, explore synergies, and identify opportunities for further development and commercialisation:

The European Commission prepares legislation for adoption by the Council (representing the member countries) and the Parliament (representing the citizens). The Commission's work is steered by a College of Commissioners, and led by its President. The Commissioners work on specific policy priorities that are set out by the Commission President.
