This Funky DL remake of this J Dilla instrumental is taken from the forthcoming album: "February - A Rest Beats Tribute To J Dilla & Nujabes".
Untitled / Fantastic originally appeared on Slum Village's 'Fantastic Voyage Vol 2" album and sees DL remake this joint applying a similar floating resonance as the original. The drums pound and DL's production weaves in and out of where J Dilla originally left the track. A smooth vocal accompaniment is provided by Dukus Alemay which guides the track through it's almost 'intergalactic" feel. There is much contrast in DL's creativity here, as his version at times mirrors Dilla's original, and is at other times a stark contrast.
