I'm currently on a family holiday, far away from my computer to work on new music. I have however prepared a remastering on an older work of mine. Please enjoy this polished version of my cover of Fungi Forest from Donkey Kong 64.

So here goes my second video in my video every 2 weeks tryout. I've always been crap at sticking to deadlines so hopefully I can keep this up for at least a little while. Anyway this time we take on Fungi Forest from the classic N64 game, Donkey Kong 64
Recently I've been replaying DK64, (Mostly because I'm a nostalgic gamer and suck at branching out into anything new), and I think the best way to describe the game is it probably started with smaller intentions, but as the creators had more ideas it just grew into a huge beast of a Game. There is so much shit in this game it's not even funny; there are 8 uniquely themed worlds, all with 25 different goals rewarded by golden bananas, 2 fairies that can't keep still for a second, a shit ton of coins that only curtain characters can collect but your family relatives need for some reason, and 500 colored bananas (sort of) scattered throughout the level. When you're playing this game for the first time as a kid, that's alot of shit to think about. But what I really like about this game is how well all that stuff in put into the game; Collecting all the stuff in a level, is addicting and extremely gratifying; all the silly side gags that Rareware puts in the game, like all the idle animations to match the characters personality, still makes me laugh to this day; and finally all the well designed levels that are perfect in color, tone and texture, has me loving it to this day. So if you still haven't played it somehow and you get a chance, I highly recommend it.
