A fun and darkly charming piece that is one of the composer's most famous works, the Marionette Funeral March was originally a solo piano piece that was also orchestrated by Gounod himself. We found an effective piano duet arrangement on imslp.org, by Albert Lavignac.
This piece was made famous by its use as the theme music in the TV show "Alfred Hitchcock Presents" from 1955 to 1965.
