The song was named the 79th best hard rock song of all time by VH1 based on public voting in 2009, although the song did not show up in a revised list from 2013.

Considered one of the bands biggest hits, Interstate Love Song reached number one on the US Billboard Album Rock Tracks chart on September 17, 1994, replacing the bands previous single Vasoline.
The song stayed at number one for 15 weeks, a record at the time, and gave STP 17 consecutive weeks at number one with both songs.
It also peaked number two on the Billboard Modern Rock Tracks chart and in Iceland, as well as number 20 in Canada.
In 2003, Interstate Love Song was featured on the greatest hits compilation Thank You.
In 2009, it was named the 58th best hard rock song of all time by VH1.
The song was ranked at number 17 on Australian alternative music station Triple Js Hottest 100 countdown of 1994.
In the UK, the song peaked at number 53. Interstate Love Song is praised as one of the best songs of the 1990s.

Live drum cover of Its a Long Way to the Top (If You Wanna Rock n Roll) by Australian hard rock band AC/DC.
It is the first track of the groups second album T.N.T., released only in Australia on 8 December 1975, and was written by Angus Young, Malcolm Young, and Bon Scott.
The song combines bagpipes with hard rock instrumentation; in the middle section of the song, there is a call and response between the bagpipes and guitar. The original recording is in B-flat major, but it was played live in A major.
A slightly shortened version of the song is also the first track on the internationally released High Voltage (May 1976). This version appears only on the vinyl release and the 2003 CD reissue.
The full version of the song is also on the Volts CD of the Bonfire box set, released in 1997.
This was a signature song for Bon Scott. Brian Johnson, who replaced Scott as AC/DCs lead vocalist after Scotts death in 1980 until his departure in 2016, did not perform it, out of respect for his predecessor.
