I tried for a long time to try and get a working version of this with buds on the ends but couldn't manage, but I finally managed with this interesting powering and depowering system with each move. Also with Samnrad's 2.22 m/s compact upward flying machine I could make an easy 2 way vertical machine with the necessary upward velocity to hold gravel/sand. Sorry I haven't finished up the other quarry design yet but I've been lazy, I'll do it soon enough. I also am really interested in continuing work on this infinite mining quarry (theorized by Redstone Jazz). I think this new concept could help out.

My new bedrock formation finder that is highly optimized and supports the new minecraft versions.
Correction: For the LCG math, the numbers are modulated by 2^48, not 2^48 - 1, modulation by 2^48 is equivalent to a bitwise AND with 2^48 - 1.

Does it work for 1.16/1.17?
Yes, bedrock generation works the exact same in 1.15 as 1.16/1.17. Just select 1.14/1.15 in the program and it will work for 1.16/1.17.
