We take a look at GNOME BOXES in this vid. Simple, easy virtualization for the Linux desktop. Here's how to install it on Ubuntu 24.04:

sudo apt install gnome-boxes qemu-kvm libvirt-daemon-system bridge-utils
sudo usermod -aG kvm $USER

Reboot.

In VM:

sudo apt install spice-vdagent
