Rumba clave time again!
This is the third video of our little serie on "fun ideas to play over any ostinato".
I choose the rumba clave 2-3 as the ostinato I'll work on (since I'm actually working on it these days haha).
In this video, the idea is to play one rhythmic phrase and to shift it from one 16th note every 2 repetitions. This way, we explore every possible placement of the phrase on our clave!
You can apply this same principle with every rythmic phrase on any ostinato you want to work on!
