A fan event for Netflix's live-action version of the most renowned manga and anime series in history, One Piece, took place on Thursday, August 24, 2023 at the Santa Monica Pier in Santa Monica, California.
In addition to taking selfies on the Going Merry and having exclusive access to the attractions and games at the Pier before a first peek screening of episode 101, more than 2,500 attendees arrived dressed as their favorite ONE PIECE characters.
Following the showing, the famous Santa Monica Pier Ferris Wheel was transformed into the Jolly Roger, and the audience was treated to a surreal epic drone performance that was inspired by the film ONE PIECE.
August 31 marks the release of ONE PIECE, a renowned high-seas adventure starring Iaki Godoy as Monkey D. Luffy, Mackenyu as Roronoa Zoro, Emily Rudd as Nami, Jacob Romero as Usopp, and Taz Skylar as Sanji.
