This is the full set including Into Deep, which had to be cut due to time constraints. This was done for Mare Fair 2024 in Orlando, Florida, the 28th of September.

A week before the convention, I quit my job to devote all my time toward getting the new song, Cast by Self, done, as well as working with my friend TacoDeBoss on visuals. Took us a couple days to get a good grip on how to use the visualizers and find things we felt were fitting, but we got everything done the Tuesday before the con. The convention altogether felt like a bunch of people turned up the dial to 11 and threw themselves at it until it worked, but despite the poor communication, technical issues, the convention happening right at the edge of the hurricane, most people loved this year and are looking forward to next year. I want to thank everyone who worked together to make this happen, because I know that especially toward the end, we were all worn out. It was 2:30am by the time I was able to get on stage, but there was still a decent crowd of very kind people, and I'm sincerely grateful.

Around July, I had to go to the ER for what I believed were heart issues. I'd been fine otherwise, but some pains down my left arm and pressure remaining in my chest were concerning me, and eventually it came to a head in the middle of a shift. Drove around to a few clinics, but none of them had anything to check my heart with, so I begrudgingly bit the bullet and took myself to the ER. Turns out it was all stress-induced, just like the problems I was having back in the college days, so I got a $12 pill bottle and a $3k bill for something I could've solved with real rest. Rest is something we all need, but have trouble finding, so for a good portion of the year, I tried to balance work and rest, and cut out the things that were getting to me. Mare Fair and repeated financial burdens have loomed over my head for a while, but social media's been bothering me more and more as the years pass. Maybe it's half me and my life breaking continually and I'd rather not talk about it, but I also feel people are generally in similar boats, and coping with problems is hard. Anger is a natural response to have, and it's good to deal with that anger, but I find that a lot of people need to direct it outward and toward others when it doesn't do much to solve the problems at hand. It's rough for me to be around mad people all the time, but there is certainly a lot to be mad about.
I'm going to get Cast by Self re-EQed before I upload it, and I'm going to look into what can be done with visualizers. I really didn't like the idea of detracting from the picture, but there's a lot that can be done with layering and combining, I just need the time to dedicate toward it. I wanted to do two new songs for Mare Fair, and one of them nearly got completed in time, but the chorus needed to be remade since I'd swapped ideas last time I worked on it, so I was only able to finish up Cast by Self. It was a fun one to work on, and should be up soon.
As for the future, I dunno. I kinda want to go for Mare Fair 1 more time, but being on stage is still really weird for me, especially with the kind of music I do. I decided to do it the first time because I'd never had the opportunity and thought it might help bring a few more people over to Mare Fair, but the second time was because I'd already said I'd do it, and I genuinely did have fun with some aspects of it. It's certainly an experience having this stuff played over speakers for anyone to hear, but it's also nerve-wrecking because despite putting a lot of effort into it, I don't know how good it really is. I'm immensely thankful for the support I've received over the years for me to be in this position, it's just all so wild to me. I'm definitely gonna keep uploading, and hopefully by next year I will have found a pattern of life that's more comfortable overall. I've needed a lot of time away from everything to get it sorted out, but perhaps I'm on a better path.

Needs to be updated with some of the newer songs, but it's most of the stuff I've ever made, for free. I do like the prospect of doing this for a living, but I greatly enjoy having it be available for anyone, and I like keeping things low-key in general. Hope y'all have been doing well, and I hope this is neat. Ain't as polished as I'd like, but it was what Taco and I were able to get done, and we're pretty content with it. It's all a learning experience, and I'm willing to keep trying.
