In this episode of Holland Built, Jake designs and builds a custom rear bumper for a Ford Raptor.
Starting in CAD, he walks through the full design process, including adapting to factory mounting points, building out a lightweight structure with improved departure angle, and incorporating tab and slot self-fixturing for easier assembly. Using SendCutSend for parts, dialing in tolerances, adding tapped holes, and designing around tube profiles for a clean, functional result.
Once the parts arrive, it’s time to mock everything up on the truck, fine tune the fitment, and weld the bumper together from start to finish.
