Usagi Electric | Full Color Graphics in DOS on a DEC Rainbow! @UsagiElectric | Uploaded August 2023 | Updated October 2024, 22 hours ago.
The Rainbow is a bit of a misnomer in that out of the box, it isn’t actually capable of color graphics. However, there was a color graphics card available for the machine, and it just so happens this machine has one installed. But, color graphics do us no good if the monitor is purely monochrome. Enter the Princeton Ultrasync. Let’s see if we can hook this unknown monitor up to DEC Rainbow and get some colors going!
