Lifting Pins and Needles | Full bust adjustment ( FBA ) with PRINCESS SEAMS. Before & after fit clips. Super practical! @LiftingPinsandNeedles | Uploaded March 2023 | Updated October 2024, 4 minutes ago.
Princess seams are lovely and there are many garments that have them: jackets, blouses, dresses... the pattern might not cater for your sewing bust cup size and that is totally fixable with a Full Bust Adjustment (FBA).
There are a few differences to the traditional Full bust adjustment because we have two pattern pieces instead of one. The improved fit is very worth it!
Today you'll see:
*Jacket with a B cup turned to a C cup
*Dress bodice taken from a B cup to a D cup
*Adjusting bust height after doing the FBA
*Optional waist adjustment after doing the FBA
*Examples before & after
