I'm so excited to be able to do this giveaway! It truly is my passion to help get backpackers backpacking, and I have a special place in my heart for those who "dream" of backpacking but haven't yet. Why? Because I truly believe the backcountry is for everyone!

Details and Limitations:
- Contest is open to residents of the continental United States and Canada
- Winning nominee must be legal age of majority and/or have parental consent to receive prize winnings
- Contest is open and playable on both Facebook and Youtube platforms.
- Duplicate posts across platforms will be counted as individual posts accordingly.
-The nominee with the most "likes" as of 11pm MST on September 30th, 2019 will be considered the winner pending contact and reference.
Rules and Entry:
1. Contestants are "nominated" by a friend and/or themselves by stating their name and including a minimum of 2-3 sentences describing why the nominee is a fitting candidate.
1.a. In the case of "self-nomination" a declaration must be made stating "This is me" or some statement of equivalent declaration. A "Self-nominated" contestant will have to provide a minimum of one reference upon winning.
2. Voting is done by the broader community(s) and nominators by "liking" various "comment-nominations"
3. The community is encouraged to check back regularly to vote on new entrants and to explore entrants on the Facebook platform.
4. The comment with the single most likes by the end of the competition will be declared the winner.
