Did you know, prior to patch 1.3 there were no caps to the amount of people that could enter any dungeon? You could if you wanted too, bring a full raid of 40 people in wailing caverns for example, and easily clear the place with just pure numbers. This is something that was changed pretty early on in vanilla wow, so a lot of people who experienced vanilla through classic wow never got to experience trivializing dungeon content.

However during patch 1.3, they didn't limit all dungeons to 5 players, in fact only Diremaul was limited to 5. All other dungeons were given a base cap of 10 people, and some of random variance like Blackrock Spire being 15 man.
