If you’re done visiting the big cool cities of Japan like Tokyo and Osaka then consider visiting Fukuoka. We explored Fukuoka in 5 days and found it to be extremely comfortable. How so? It’s safe, it’s convenient and it’s affordable. I enjoyed how less crowded it was which made it a bit easier to find our way around. There are direct flights from Manila to Fukuoka from different airlines but the cheapest year-round fares are from Cebu Pacific. We only booked it last July for ₱6,800 and we stayed in an AirBnB apartment a little outside Hakata for only ₱4,400 per night for 3 person.
