In this video, I’m heading to Fu Yang in the heart of George Town, Malaysia, to try some highly recommended local street food. First up is the iconic Char Koay Teow, a smoky, savory dish of flat rice noodles stir-fried with prawns, eggs, bean sprouts, and a few mysterious "sea creatures" that kept things interesting! For only about $2.40 (10 RM), it’s an incredible value and full of flavor.
To cool off, I dive into a classic Malaysian dessert: Penang Ice Kacang (also known as ABC). This unique treat features shaved ice topped with vanilla ice cream, red beans, corn, pandan noodles, and colorful jelly. It’s a fascinating mix of sweet and savory that you just don't see in the US!
