Learn about one of the tests we do on our essential oils. 🧪

In this video, we use an FTIR scan to send infrared light through an essential oil sample. The light causes the bonds in the molecules to bend and flex, giving us a reading that we can compare to our database.⁣

FTIR tests help us detect impurities in EOs, like lavandin in Lavender or synthetic linalool in Bergamot.⁣
