Enjoy the Florida State spirit this holiday season with the cozy Beth Walton Moor Lounge fireplace.
The Beth Walton Moor lounge was created in 1938, inside of the Longmire building on FSU’s campus. The lounge was named after Beth Walton Moor, a graduate of FSU, who served on various university committees. She helped fund the construction of the Longmire building, and she was named the Tallahassee “Woman of the Year” in 1967.
The lounge continues to hold much of its historic charm, and it is frequently used to host formal events and receptions by faculty and students alike.
