I can’t believe it’s happening again, but with the release of Futurama’s “Otherwise” we have now hit the FIFTH episode in the show’s history that was written as a potential series finale. We also of course are going in knowing that it ISN’T the series finale, with 20 more episodes on the way over the next couple of years, but the Futurama writing staff always hedges their bets, and so we know that this one COULD have been the end. But how did it compare to the PREVIOUS 4 potential series finales? Would this have been a satisfying ending? Honestly, it feels like a little bit of Deja vu asking all these questions.
