This is an edit to the almost 6 minute song Bittersweet Symphony by The Verve using the footage of the anime Fruits Basket.
I remember the original 2001 Fruits Basket. My friend Jenny had let me borrow her DVD copy, and it had become one of my first animes from that moment on. A story where a girl who has lost her mother must work hard and continue life without her. While trying along her path, she comes upon a house full of men who are a part of a strange family. The family has several members who are born as human incarnations of the Chinese Zodiac animals. When embraced by the opposite gender, the cursed members change into the animal of their Year. It is out of their control.
It's a good show and I hope this video entices you to check it out.
I used only season 1 in this video besides the final clips which is from the final episodes to contrast with the original first season, which reminded me most of the 2001 anime I got into the first time.
I started this last year, after years of feeling demotivated, I am proud to say I managed it. And here I have uploaded it on my birthday, representing me, as how I feel about myself. I edit because I love it, and I am my own biggest fan. Though I have struggled over time, I still am full of the energy I am proud of.
I'm my own greatest fan, I keep myself going even when I feel there is no point. When I turn to others, they usually aren't able to do anything about how unmotivated I am. That’s when it's time to just let loose and do what I do best. Space out and edit a raw AMV. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

Here I make a video of the sadness living within humanity.
Motivation to live - a state of having the strength to exit a place of safety to live at your fullest potential. // Its opposite stands as an apathy towards life - a state to which caring is genuinely not there, neither for yourself or most others.
I have been stuck in the state of apathy for years, so long that I dont believe I have ever felt the true feeling of motivation for life. And here I am now, trying to find such feelings.
That must be why I am exploring the energy behind the emotion the only way I know how to through art, and visuals that come from the soul. And somehow it becomes a very depressive state that is full of fear, intensity and confusion, as shown in this video. I am unsure as to whether this is how it should be or how I take it. What do you see in this emotion study?
Cloud is the kind of character that is very easy to vent this kind of thing through. So easy that after making that Amon video, I was able to whip this thing out pretty damn fast. It is so easy to use Cloud because in all honesty Advent Children makes him such a sad character with no motivation, so when he does fight its something worth noting.

Why do I fight. Every single answer written in this video is shown through conflict, as though each answer is actually a question. Especially the reason myself which is red, but doesnt zoom in and become bigger. As though it in itself is a major issue to accept.

The falling apple at 1:43 is one of my favorite clips to ever use. It represents innocent and life being thrown from its place of nursing into the fires, unable to fight for itself.
In this video it expresses Zack a very unsure person, children as very unsure people but in the end everything works out and you follow the one who means everything to you into the depth of the world and make attempt, despite the darkness.
My character thing with the text here is how it says For those of you who are colorblind, know that it does not take eyes to see and the next words are motivation etc. I didnt realize when I made it that I was connecting the two sentences. For those of you who cant see the light of day, know that motivation is all in the heart of the beholder.")

A collab with Nej17 and I. My version was completely eaten by YouTube to the point where five days after I uploaded my copy, it was a bunch of black pixels with every fade out. And you know how much I fade. So yeah there were a lot of pixels. I dunno why I didnt just upload it sooner. @@
As Nej explains on her copy, one day last May or so we were like Lets do a collab and then we both procrastinated so damn long that the collab was forgotten. Then one day as we drank alcohol and did multiple drugs, (pffft Threads? yeah sure you still like my little pony and cartoons get out) we remembered about this project. One of us mentioned Harry Potter instead of FFVII since its probably happened with FFVII a hundred times anddddd here we go.
Technically this was my first Harry Potter video, as it was uploaded the day after Harry/Jo Rowlings Bday. August 1st.
So believe it or not Harry Potter was the first thing I ever uploaded to ThreadstoTwelve long before anyone knew about me. I literally would get a cell phone, sit by the TV and record the screen in horrible quality, giving everyone gay voices. Then Id upload them cuz lol. Then my second upload was Avatar the Last Airbender videos that dont exist anymore D: Ive been returning to roots because well... when you make like 97 Cloud/Sephiroth/Zack/FFVII in general videos... the footage gets tedious. I think Ive milked enough out of that fandom. Anybody mind that Im doing new stuff?

This video just about killed me... I spent so much energy draining creativity and ideas into it that I became fatigued and sick for several months @@ I know because everytime I stopped thinking about it and once I was finished with it, the sickness went away. Figure that out... Anyways for these reasons I had to wrap it up and the Dance-Arrows-game thingy part was where I had to make do with a first draft version... :c
I wish I could have fixed it up better but my computer completely shit out on me :( I hope its enough to impress the judges of the GMV Awards 2012... woohoo!
Something I realized I havent even said in this description because it was so fucking long was something I wanted to mention at the very beginning. However the day I uploaded this I actually moved out of my house and was very stressed. Because of my computers crappiness: I redid every part over 5 times, sometimes up to 20 times, and every part is about 3 seconds long. To avoid the project corrupting like the universe likes to do to me I split the project into over 60 different projects, and the entire project consists of 527 files.

Slenderman came to visit me as I was making it too, but when I said he couldnt be in my movie, he snuck in anyway in statics and other ways too. Find all the Slenderman cameos and youll get a cookie. Also Im blaming Slenderman for the glitch on the ice cream Aqua clip that nobody could fix.
Notes about each bit:
- Sora hates the jukebox. He doesnt know what it is or anything. In a deleted scene I had animated Sora kicking the Jukebox and it kicks him back across the screen, but sadly his leg looked terrible so I cut it out and put the Limbo bit in instead.
- Also, MASKING!!! SCREW IT!
- Sora is also too cool to stay on the dancepad. He also didnt follow the steps he was supposed to because hes from Kingdom Hearts and all he knows how to do is swat a blunt object in various directions based on who has the blue target on them. He didnt know what the arrows even were.
- For the tiny Lea blowing flames part, I frame-by-framed that shit with a pic I drew...woo! For the detail in the video I even half-assed some research by asking some people to translate tones into musical notes and figured out how a DJ did his fingers. I still have no idea but it looks decent when you arent paying attention xD
- 1:31 is inspired by a game I have never played, only seen pictures of: Limbo. Mom said when the spot was blank that she imagined running from far away, and I imagined black and white, so that came out. There are four places Sora runs through and all of them are distorted versions of a nightmare-type Disney world in this order: The first place isnt based off anywhere, it was just where I first got the idea...But notice that Riku runs by behind the grass lol. Second is based off of Halloween Town, third is underwater, I imagined it based on Pinnochio since boys with legs run underwater somehow, and last was Wonderland.
- And the symbols that appear whenever Axel, Riku and Kairi are dancing is Axels chakram, the eye on Rikus Keyblade, and Kairis pendant thingy.

S T O R Y:
The Sun Turns White... the title is in reference to the White Witch Namine, who has an ability to cloud the minds of various men she meets, and have them see her as the women they are truly in love with. Such as Eric with Ariel, Eric will see Namines gleam and see her as their loved one. If the male has no love, then they will be drained of their common sense and see Namine as a white entity which commands their actions... such as Ansem.
This clip takes place in the middle of the video and its story. After the beginning, which further demonstrates a plot between Namine, Sora, Riku and Kairi (Which Im not spoiling yet)... Roxas, Soras Remnant (OR WHATEVA DA HELL) is living in the alternate Twilight Town...
Roxas notices a change in Seifer. Like Sora, he has been witnessing a lot of strange happenings around the worlds as well as his own. Facing Seifer, he tries to get to the bottom of it. Seifer being one of Namines knights he refuses to give information and calls Roxas unworthy to be her knight.
Confuzzled, Roxas just calls it a night. But during his slumber, he is immediately thrown into a deep dream. He witnesses first hand as Namine overwhelms Ansem with her mysterious glare. After a quick premonition of the battles to come, and Sora in danger, Roxas awakes and hurries to alert Sora, but isnt sure how to. In his dream he had seen that blue orb ... but where would he find one?
Sora has already found the duplicate orb on his side of reality, and holds it to the sun. As soon as it glistens, Roxas is struck in the face with a ray of sunlight. A few seconds later, he realizes he and Sora are communicating through the ball... as though Roxas Twilight Town was inside of the orb.
Roxas starts to explain, when the orb stirs, and rips Roxas out of his reality and, through Soras body, is set standing right next to him.

Well, it isnt my best, but Ive had this motivation block. I always have trouble finding songs, but this time, I found one on my own iPod Touch (Provided by the amazingtastical artlessangel, ZacktheFairest2 and DarkAngelicVampires, god I hope I got the name right...), from the OST of the Pursuit of Happiness. If you can, check that movie out, because its just...how the world is, and I really like it and how there can always be a positive outlook on things.
The story hopefully tells itself, nothing too far away from cannon except if you wanted to take Serahs evil grin as a She turned evil!?! thing, or just, Shes somewhere we cant reach her, this isnt her, theyre just taunting us with this crap!
All I know is that it is about Lightning and Snows guilt, loss and personal confliction concerning the loss of Serah. In the end, Lightning leaves him there to deal with it himself and goes to do it her own way. So, pretty cannon, just... a complicated outlook on it.
Honestly, I dont care for it much, but hopefully it can mean something to you or someone you know, cuz they always seem to touch someone!

When Nej and I were young warthogs, we decided to watch Soul Eater. At first we disliked all of it... until Stein showed up. And then we went oh nevermind about the hate.
Well at least it was Stein for her. For me I was like LOLOLOL LORD DEATH IS HILARIOUS. I wonder why she liked Stein so much though. Was it his intelligence? Was it because he had the voice actor of Android 17 in DBZ, who was Nejs numbersake? Or was it simply because he had silver hair?
Once upon a time during the watching of a particularly Black Star-is-annoying kind of episode, Stein was leaning against the tree when Nej impersonated him out of the blue and said Now Maka, consider my penis for a moment. Right now its flacid, but give me a moment.
It was so random I pood myself. I just...I just pood. Eventually also, I realized I could do an impersonation of Lord Death. Everyone kept saying Thats pretty good so I began an adventure as Lord Death across the cosmos, expelling all children from schooling systems, considering penises, and stating that mine as Lord Death was so great that it expanded over the entire world, and that in fact he had no idea who Kids mother was, because he wasnt eve aware of sexual activity he experienced because it was just too big.
So theres the story behind the random voice over in this.
Eventually Nej and Threads planned a collab, those silly bitches, as if they ever finished anything. XD
When I first started this I was playing Audiosurf to this song which I found on tophergasms page. We had just watched Soul Eater episodes so I had people on the mind and I thought of these lyrics with Black Stars ego and how he always says hes the best. So I was gonna make it about him even though I hate Black Star with such a passion that I could write a novel about it... When Stein interfered with his coat and glasses and punted Black Star out of the video, killing him in the process. So I went oh.
Then it became whatever all this is.
Also, I did dubstep. People said try it, other people said NO DONT THREADS so i thought Id put my own influence into how I would do it... With so much timing I died.
People keep telling me to do certain things... then I remembered I dont have to do what people want. Sure poetic videos and trailers are cool but... I say my style is variety, so I wanna be able to do everything!
I also did hard cuts. PRAISE JESUS. Aint nobody got time foh fades. I kid I kid...This is Threads talking. Next vid Ill be doing them again. :)
