Mac and Cheese Recipe
Ingredients
⅛ cup butter
⅛ cup AP flour
½ can evaporated milk
¾ cup milk
½ cup cream
¼ teaspoon mustard powder
¼ teaspoon cayenne
¼ teaspoon chicken bouillon powder
½ teaspoon onion powder
⅓ teaspoon granulated garlic
¼ teaspoon black pepper
¼ teaspoon salt
¾ cup hand shredded sharp cheddar cheese
⅔ cup hand shredded monterey jack cheese
½ cup processed american cheese product, cubed
¼ cup hand shredded gruyere cheese
1 ½ cups medium macaroni, cooked and drained

Step 1: Make the Mac n Cheese Sauce
1) Add butter and AP flour to a large pan. Make a roux.
2) Add in the evaporated milk, followed by the milk and cream.
3) Toss in your spices.
4) Add cheese to the sauce.

Equipment
Large pot
Whisk
Silicone spatula

Step 2: Assemble Mac
Butter, for casserole dish
1 ½ cups medium macaroni, cooked and drained
Cheese sauce
1 cup hand shredded sharp cheddar cheese
⅔ cup hand shredded monterey jack cheese
¼ cup hand shredded gruyere cheese

1) Add macaroni to the cheese sauce. Mix up.
2) Blend cheeses together.
3) Butter your casserole dish.
4) Add ½ the macaroni.
5) Add some cheese.
6) Add the rest of the macaroni.
7) Top with the remaining cheese.
8) Bake covered at 375 for 15 minutes.
9) Remove foil and bake for an additional 7 minutes on 475, until you get a nice crust.
