Why?!
Why did I set the bar so high for this song to begin with?!
I mean, I know why, and it was to outdo everything being made at the time and to make my cover unique to the point of not being outdone .... well, it's a Redo, and I outdid it somehow!

Due to life being life, I needed a bit of a hiatus to recover. As such, my regular schedule has been thrown out the window. We had originally planned to release this song earlier as part of 2022's August's Redos Theme.

I already had the sheet music for it, so I figured I could just whip it together and make some pixel art of the stylized Toothless dancing to it :3
Yes, I am somewhat back. Posting will be sparse and in batches of at least 2-3 songs whenever they get finished.

Due to redstone limitations, I had to swing this one to get it similar to the original tempo.
It took me well over a week of resetting to try and get the timing right for most of the extra features. Lots of command blocks too!

This was an exceptionally personal song for me to write and countless tears are still being spilt over it.
This is my journey with Pearl, my first pet rat.
She helped me get passed some past trauma which had me terrified to pick up an animal for fear of hurting it.
We brought her and her sisters home, she was the first one to willingly accept food from my hands. I had to chase her down and pick her up when she fell out of her cage. She loved being the center of our attention and got jealous when it was given to her sisters.
She was my rat. She even got out of her cage one night and made her way to our bed and climbed up onto my side of the bed even though it was farthest from the door. We had to give her her own smaller cage when she refused to get along with her sisters anymore.
She hated it when Chase fixed up her cage to make sure she couldnt get out anymore.
.... and then she developed a tumor. And we made the tough choice to have her put down when she could no longer move properly. Chase handed her over to the vet while I could do nothing but stand by and cry.
I still miss her. As of present, we still have her 3 sisters, but none of them were as close to me as Pearl was, and they are all old and reaching the end of their lifetimes too.
Due to feeling burnt out, Im taking an unscheduled break through the month of April and will focus on the songs for May instead. Songs might still be released through April though.

It was through my first attempt at this song that Keri came across my channel and joined my community and would eventually become one of my builders through invitation. So, when I said this song was on the table for receiving a redo, Keri jumped on it so fast there was no getting any other words in.
My requirements for a song being redone are that we can vastly improve upon the music, the background and the effects.
Considering I now have access to 11 more Noteblock sounds, particle commands, Light Blocks and Keri ..... Ill let you guys decide if weve outdone my first attempt.
