Frostpunk 2 presents its cinematic opening "The Captain is Dead, Long Live the Steward" that bridges the gap between the first and second chapters of its acclaimed city-building, society survival series.
The video, which serves as the sequel’s intro cinematic, gives a poignant look at the aging, weary Captain from the first installment, who in his prime "held New London together." After 30 years of enduring the relentless whiteouts, the crumbling British Empire still clings to survival, but as the Captain’s final breath leaves his body, he realizes that mere survival is no longer enough in the current world.
Will years of struggle and sacrifice be undone by ideological infighting? Or can the new Steward reconcile the political factions and inspire society to believe that New London can still stand strong?
Frostpunk 2 released at PC on September 20th 2024. The game will also be available on day one via PC Game Pass, with a console release to follow later.

PAYDAY 3: Chapter 2 – Boys in Blue, the second DLC Expansion for the ultimate heist shooter fantasy, is out now on all platforms. Picking up the story from Chapter 1: Syntax Error, it´s time to get their gold back from a corrupt police captain. The Boys are back in town and Clover too!
DLC Overview
The gang will infiltrate a police station, embodying the true spirit of PAYDAY as each gold bar they steal becomes a bold act of defiance against authority.
Boys in Blue is accessible to Silver Edition, Gold Edition, and Gold Pass owners of PAYDAY 3 and is available to buy separately on PC, Xbox Series S|X, and PlayStation 5. The DLC consists of:
The Heist Pack: with PAYDAY 3: Chapter 2 - Boys in Blue
The Weapon Pack with 3 new weapons, 26 mods and 2 cosmetics
The Tailor Pack with 4 new masks, 4 new suits, and 4 new gloves.
PAYDAY 3’s second DLC Expansion also comes with a major free update. The Boys in Blue free update is available for all players including Solo Mode Beta (on all platforms), a new heister Clover, a new LMG Primary Weapon and more.
Releasing alongside the Boys in Blue update will be a Gold Pass, now available for purchase. Upgrading to the Gold Pass will give all base PAYDAY 3 Edition fans access to all Year 1 content.
Operation Medic Bag, revised DLC pricing
With the launch of Operation Medic Bag, PAYDAY 3 has gotten a significant overhaul. Since the start of the year, the game has indeed received several updates, including a brand-new Progression system, the much-requested Quickplay, two brand new skill lines and more.
As part of Operation Medic Bag, the pricing for upcoming DLCs has been lowered. To compensate for the price disparity between previous and upcoming DLCs, Syntax Error, Silver Edition and Gold Edition owners will receive several outfits and weapons for free.
Steam Summer Sale
All editions of PAYDAY 3 are available at a 50% discount during the Steam Summer Sale, starting today and running through July 11, 2024.
