Okay I've been working on this for a bit bc I'm really considering making it a storyboarded map if all goes well. I've never made a map before so if anyone has any advice feel free to share. It's not quite in shape yet but I wanted to post this version first to get feedback and whatnot
This is the longest video I've ever made by far so ummmmm hope it goes well 👍
I think the program I used messed up the quality and the timing near the end but it'll be fine

Spoilers for River, the first book of A Starless Clan, btw.

Things you need to know from the book before watching [if you’ve read the book already, skip past this part]: At the beginning of the book Frostpaw has just been made a medicine cat apprentice. She’s nervous about it but her mother, Curlfeather, reassures her and brings up the prophecies she’s already received, one of which being the death of her father Jayclaw when she was still a kit. Not long after making it official at the moonpool, Mistystar loses her last life mid argument in front of the whole clan, Frostpaw included. Reedwhisker, Riverclan’s deputy, doesn’t return from patrol that night and is missing for a while after. After receiving a vision during another trip to the moonpool, Frostpaw leads a patrol to look for Reedwhisker. She ends up finding him dead at the bottom of a ravine. The cats assume he died from the fall but it’s implied it was something more. Being the only cat in the clan who can communicate with Starclan anymore, she is thrust into somewhat of a leadership position and returns to the moonpool for a sign. She interprets it to mean Curlfeather to be the next leader. On the way to receive Curlfeather’s nine lives, however, a pack of dogs appears. The dogs catch and maul Curlfeather as Frostpaw barely escapes. Her last words are a warning to Frostpaw, to trust no cat. At the end of the book Frostpaw returns to the medicine den, traumatized, while the other cats discuss what happens next.
