The 2022 remake of Front Mission, via Steam. I have videos for the original SNES version and the DS port if you want to compare. This remake is more or less the DS version with 3D graphics.

Notes
I played this on the same difficultly as the OCU campaign. The UCS campaign is significantly more difficult at the start and while it’s possible to get through the early missions on the next higher difficultly, it’s heavily reliant on RNG. I had one run where I slapped all but one of the first wave of enemies in mission 1 with nearly all body shots but then that lone survivor murdered Kevin during a counter and caused a game over. Another run where Johnny melted immediately in the very first engagement, forcing me to restart and so on with similar outcomes.
I was going to spend time in the arena and eventually trivialize the game anyway with speed/duel in either case, so I didn’t see any reason to subject myself to a lot of off-screen pain early on. This isn’t a strategy game, it’s a slot machine that you eventually totally rig in your favor.
