I deconstructed the original song to have more meaning to what its original idea was. When I was recording the original it was almost like a RATM song heavy with harmonics but the day I was recording it was a day got a lot of snow, our kitten who had never seen snow got his chance to go out on a harness and leash and the idea behind the song became more soft and mellow the ideas behind the song changing to be more of a soundtrack of that evening with James (our cat) innocently experience a new world for the first time and enjoying it. This version of the song is more what I had envisioned in my head after that night so I decided to make this version to reflect what the song meant to me. (Fun fact the original file name for this song was snowkitten.reason) This is similar to the idea behind Happy Mongoose which was also a snow day inspired song. I hope you enjoy it. Instrument used for EPIANO and BASS2 is the Yamaha TX7.
