I did not expect to find the perfect bag for me in the first week of January, but here we are!!
I know there are mixed opinions on Hermes and the supposed game, and there is a lot of talk about the buying process online. I can only speak to my own experiences, and I know the buying process can vary across the world. I personally love going in to discover new colors. I've always been treated with respect and kindness. I've never felt pressured to buy things I don't want, but I do love many of their items outside of quota bags.
Hermes Lindy 26 in color Bleu Lin
Leather is Taurillon Clemence
If I'm not mistaken, I believe my mini lindy, black lindy 26, and possibly the picotin are in this same leather. Regardless, I love it and would recommend it for the Lindy!
From the H website
"Find out more about taurillon Clemence leather
Named in tribute to the daughter of the designer who introduced it into the collections, this leather was developed for luggage and is the ultimate example of a grained leather that has been drummed. This process softens the skin and brings a generous grain to the surface.
First appeared in the collections: 1992
Appearance: Semi-matt, generous and irregular grain
Feel: Soft and smooth
Hand: Yielding
Change over time: Becomes more supple"
